Frequently Asked Questions
TCT (carbide-tipped) tools are a sharp, economical choice for solid wood, MDF and chipboard. PCD (diamond) tools last 20–50 times longer than carbide on laminate, melamine and glued panels — a higher initial cost that lowers total cost on abrasive materials.
Tooth count drives cut quality: for clean, chip-free sizing choose a high count (72T–96T); for coarser, faster ripping a lower count is enough. We set the right choice against your material, feed rate and machine.
Yes. Carbide and PCD blades and cutters can be re-sharpened many times; regular sharpening preserves tool life and cut quality. We also provide sharpening and technical service support.
Chip-free cutting needs a scoring blade paired with the main blade, plus high-tooth-count tools with the correct hook angle. On abrasive coatings, PCD tools deliver both a clean cut and long life.
The material you cut (solid, MDF, chipboard, laminate), your machine's diameter/bore and rpm, the required cut quality, and your production volume. With these we finalise diameter, tooth count, geometry and the carbide/PCD choice.
