Sharpening Services

We provide end-to-end grinding machines and auxiliary equipment for sharpening services and saw manufacturers.

A blade's performance is directly tied to grinding precision. On circular saws, correctly grinding the front/rear, side and rake angles determines tool life, cut quality and safety.

Torsel offers CNC front/rear-angle grinders (TF series) for TCT/carbide blades, side-angle (NS series) and rake-angle (AF/F series) machines, carbide and HSS tool grinders, plus end-jump measuring devices, sand-blasting and polishing auxiliary equipment.

We work out the right combination of machines for your service capacity and the blade types you handle.

How to build the right machine combination for your sharpening service

The steps to build an end-to-end grinding line for the blade types and service capacity you handle.

  1. 1

Identify the blade types you handle

Are they TCT/carbide or HSS, what is the diameter range and your daily grinding volume? Machine and automation choices rest on this.

  2. 2

Map the angles to be ground

A circular saw is ground on front/rear, side and rake angles. Determine which you need to process; Torsel offers a dedicated machine for each angle.

  3. 3

    Select machines by angle

Combine the TF/TFS series for front/rear, the NS series for side and the AF/F series for rake-angle CNC grinding machines.

  4. 4

    Add measuring and auxiliary equipment

Secure grinding quality and repeatability with end-jump measuring devices, angle projectors, and sand-blasting and polishing machines.
